Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that eats your evenings. You lead a ragtag party across a crumbling kingdom, and the writing is genuinely good — characters remember what you said three chapters ago and sulk accordingly. Combat is turn-based but brisk, with a timing bar that rewards you for tapping attacks at the right beat.
What makes it sing on mobile is how well it handles session length. You can clear a single skirmish in four minutes or sink into a two-hour story arc, and the autosave is bulletproof. Gear management is deep without being fiddly, thanks to a smart auto-equip toggle for when you just want to fight.
It asks for patience in the early hours before the party opens up, but push through and it becomes one of the richest RPGs on a touchscreen.
